I graduated from the University of Queensland in 2012 with a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronics Extended Major, Hons I), and I am currently a PhD student in the Robotics and Autonomous Systems Laboratory at Queensland University of Technology.
My project, titled Visual Navigation for Sunny Summer Days and Stormy Winter Nights focuses on robotic place recognition using visual sensors (cameras), working towards solving problems caused by differences in environmental conditions and camera viewpoint. I am primarily interested in robust, simple algorithmic solutions to real-world problems.
